Restaurant La Source provides destination dining within Lanaken’s Domaine La Butte aux Bois – an imposing country pile set in a tranquil, wooded estate near the borders of Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany.

The dining room has large windows overlooking the gardens, with French châteaux-style seating and an unstuffy ambience. Ralf Berendsen’s haute cuisine menus impress with their harmony, achieved through a cooking style that focuses on balancing opposing flavours. Signature dishes include a trio of langoustine with tandoori masala, miso and couscous, and a rich foie gras with yuzu tangerine and ginger beer.
